    Comprising innumerable fashion outlets, this area showcases trendy articles from around the world, and is thronged with eager shoppers on weekends and holidays.

  • Ximending Commercial Zone:
    Ximending has been called the “nest of the new" in Taipei. In this area, you can see the trendiest, the newest and the most bizarre elements of the city on display, whether in fashion or information. On weekends and holidays, the pedestrian-only zones and the movie theaters of this district also feature live performances by artists. It's an exciting, appealing place to investigate.

  • Taipei Main Station Commercial Zone:
    Taipei Main Station is the transportation hub of the city, and it's flanked with hotels, restaurants, clothing stores, bookstores and anything else imaginable, creating an unbelievably energetic whole.

  • Huayin Street Commercial Zone:
    The city's earliest consumer product wholesale district, this area offers products including leather goods, jewelry and accessories, shoes and miscellaneous goods, all at very reasonable prices.

  • Dali Street Fashion Zone:
    With a diverse and rich offering of women's and children's clothing and accessories, Dali Street is the place where many retail stores come to stock their shelves.

  • The Yuanling Shopping Area :
    Offering myriad styles and types of shoes at reasonable prices.

  • Yongkang Street Shopping Area:
    This zone brings together gourmet food, art and recreational opportunities, featuring a high concentration of restaurants and shops.

  • Aiguo East Road Wedding Strip:
    This zone brings together the finest photographers, and provides great art photography, family portraits or wedding shots.

  • Dihua Street and surrounding Tea Companies:
    This area is the premiere source for dried goods, Chinese medicines, cloth and tea leaves. It's a unique combination of religion, history and culture.

  • The Siping Shopping Area:
    A fine source for upscale items, jewelry and accessories. This area provides dining and shopping opportunities for workers in nearby areas.

  • Tienmu West Road and Zhongshan Rd. Sec. 7: Chock-full of exotic flavor, this area offers not only Western-style bars, but also Taiwanese open-air beer halls. It's a high quality, highly diverse shopping zone.

 


 

  • Beimen Camera Zone:
    This is the place for the latest and best in photographic and sound equipment at great prices. • Neihu Recreational Street: This area brings together residential, commercial, recreational and educational resources. 

  • Chaoyang Jewelry and Adornment Zone:
    Retail and wholesale zone for all sorts of fashion accessories. Prices are generally about 60% lower than those charged by retail shops.



  •  Wenchang Furniture Street:
    This is the largest concentration of furniture sellers in the city, offering both Chinese- and Western-style pieces. There are also designers willing to take on special commissions.
